Last night was our last session of this class. Jeff had his district track meet, so he could not make it. Kari, knowing this, graciously volunteered to go with me (what a good friend, going to a 2 and a half hour class that she already knows all about)...just for support! Thanks, mama! So first of all, we probably should have known, the 2 of us together at a somewhat serious classroom environment - - not a good recipe! This was the last of 3 sessions and Jeff went with me to the 1st two. Well, in the 1st two classes, whenever the instuctor would talk about the "Dads" she would say, "Now you dads are going to be doing this....etc." Well, last night, since Kari was there, "Dads" was replaced with "support people" and everytime she said it, she looked at Kari - - EVERYTIME! And not just a glance, she would pause and look at her for at least a couple seconds. Very awkward...for both of us. But wait...that is not the worst of it.
So when we went to the mats to do our breathing excercises, she decided to have us face eachother. Oh no, NOT GOOD! Then she said, "I want you to be eachother's focal point and hold hands." I have to tell you too that we were in the VERY front of the class. I think you can see where this is going. So when we started the breathing, I tried, I REALLY did, to hold it in, but there was no stopping it - - I busted out laughing soooo hard. Then, of course, Kari couldn't help it and did the same. When we were done with that "contraction" the instructor said, "Now if you can make her laugh during the contraction, that's great." Well, I got a hold of myself, then we started again, and sure enough, since it was inappropriate, I had to laugh again! Ahhh...Then it became contagious. The couple behind us started laughing hysterically too. I was so embarrassed but could not help it. I know the instructor was probably not amused. SO, with that said, I was glad that was the last class...I would be embarrassed to walk in next week. :) We had a great time though and it's one for the memory books! Thanks for the laughs, Kari! I can always count on you! Ha ha ha ha!

LMAO omg...I'm in tears again, no joke laughing so hard. That was so funny, and it wasnt so bad that we were laughing silently until you started busting out laughing lol that had me rolling even more. I think even I could bring laughter to you during labor ya think? lol Thanks for letting me tag along, never a dull moment with you that's for sure! Love ya MUAH
LOL! That is too funny, girls! That makes me think of LONG ago when my best friend and I went to church together and we were singing a hymn with the word "bosom" in it. We were probably about 13 or 14 years old. Ahhh yes. It's SO hard to try and contain laughter in a situation when you're supposed to be quiet. But it makes for such good memories. ;) Fun times!
Sending love and hugs!
